The northern end of Devaun Park Boulevard is accented with
an existing water feature to be known as Horseshoe Lake due
to its shape and may also be utilized for light boating activities
and fishing. This particular area will accommodate a membership
recreation program including a swimming facility, a clubhouse,
basketball, tennis, volleyball and an outdoor amphitheater
for neighborhood events. Horseshoe Lake is adjacent to Whisper
Park, named for the serene quite beauty of the landscape in
this area, which is accessible to Devaun Pointe on the Calabash
River via Hutton Heights Way.

The Horseshoe Club Pavilion is a private membership club
that offers facilities to members and their guests at this
sculpted park surrounded by majestic pines overlooking Horseshoe
Lake. This facility will include: porte-cochere, administration
offices, a kitchen, a screen porch overlooking Horseshoe Lake,
bathrooms, multipurpose great room, dining patio, fireplace,
play area, a boardwalk overlooking Horseshoe Lake and guest
parking. Horseshoe Club membership is available on a priority
basis with the purchase of property in Devaun Park.
The tennis courts and volleyball court at the Horseshoe Club
are available to property owners with memberships on a first
come, first serve basis. When other players are waiting, play
is limited to one hour, or the completion of one set for each
group. Tennis shoes must be worn on the tennis court at all
times and members are encouraged to wear appropriate apparel
on the courts. No individuals, except actual tennis plays
and maintenance personnel, are allowed on the tennis courts.
The courts will be limited for play between the hours of 8:00
AM and 8:00 PM in consideration of your neighbors in the Horseshoe
Club area Portions of the Horseshoe Club may be reserved for
special events. Events that entail the solicitation of business
will not be allowed. Pets must be leashed.
There are no lifeguard services provided. Use of the Horseshoe
Club and Park facilities, including swimming, are at your
own risk. Property supervision and good common sense should
be used when children are enjoying the these facilties &
activities that create a disturbance to adjoining property
owners or other members will not be allowed.
The Horseshoe Club and neighborhood parks are open on a year-round
basis and observing the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven
days a week; however, the Horseshoe Club may be utilized until
10:30 PM, unless special arrangements have been scheduled
